I’ve had a lot of fun with the offbeat lately.

My best friend and I threw a two person house party a week ago, complete with disco music, strobe lights, questionable substances and a spontaneous breakdancing competition.

There’s also been several rounds of what I call Poor Man’s Laser Tag where players run around and shoot each other with their camera phones. The digital ninja with the most pictures of the enemy wins. My phone now houses a gallery of blurry combat photos.

For Halloween, I’m dressing up as Uma Thurman’s character from Pulp Fiction: 1) black wig, 2) crimson lips, 3) syringe sticking out of chest.

As my life gets stranger, everything I’ve ever wanted seems more and more within reach.
