An archetypist

As I am currently living life in the impoverished lane, today I made Chocolate Chip and Walnut Cookies Minus the Cookie.

What this is, is me, sitting on the couch with a bag of chocolate chips on my right and a bag of walnuts on my left. I take a handful of walnuts, add a sprinkling of chocolate chips and then chew, chew, chew, all the while choking down the sobs caused by my lack of warm, delicious cookie. You see, that whole so-called “cookie” part is an unaffordable commodity right now, not unlike precious jewels, or, say, car insurance.

I am naught but a beggar in a dark, sugarless land.
